The Project targets at three articulated specific objectives:
·Launching self-sustained national processes of interaction with EU Cotton Policy.
·Contributing to international mutual understanding on cotton production, in particular between Europe and Africa.
·Setting up a cotton sector specific research network on socio-economic issues.
It is retained to devote three Work Packages ( WP1, WP2 and WP3) to address distinctly these objectives, in addition to a WP destined to deal with the overall management of the Project.
Distinct outputs can be clearly identified for each WP with specific milestones:
