With regard to the stakeholders of European cotton sectors, the expected interaction can be hampered by the resentment they might have against a new CAP reform or against the attacks at the international arena. Although change might be felt necessary, inertia power prevents change in human societies or, when it occurs, people do not favour it. Consequently, none could expect an efficient participative approach being established and taking place overnight.
when the involved players have apparently opposed views.
and this stage could last a long time if players are not assisted in overcoming this stage.
In implementing individual interviews, the Project partners will provide the opportunity to each category of stakeholders to express their critique and resentment and will in return capture those critiques that sound founded to be further discussed in a collective way, in the framework of a national seminar.
