The main focus of the ISSCRI Project is to promote a participative process, both at various national levels, inside EU, and at international level mainly between EU and African countries. Materialisation of such a participative process assumes that cotton sector stakeholders can and accept to move forward. It is retained that scientists, owing to their neutrality, can help through a combination of facilitation, assembling and synergetic approaches.
in playing a role of collecting relevant materials, resulting from research and development activities, to help assess the issues the EU cotton sector is facing.
by involving the participating scientists, with the prospect of attracting more European scientists to join in.
