There were 28 communications split into four sessions: "Panorama on cotton policies in the world"; "Impacts of cotton policies on production and producers"; "Cotton policies, production factors and modes"; "Cotton policies, retrospective and prospective".
More than 80 persons, from 21 countries, attended the conference. A dozen of peoples, representing other five countries, have failed coming for visa issues.

D5 Synthesis report on the interviews of the cotton stakeholders in Spain and Greece about the new cotton policy in Europe
In view of contributing to the interaction process between the cotton sector stakeholders, in line with the participative approach of the methodology retained by the ISSCRI Project, interviews were implemented along producers and other stakeholders in Greece and Spain in order to capture their opinions about the implementation of the new cotton reform in Europe. This report is a synthesis made from the studies conducted in the two European countries.
