Country/geographic region to which the documents pertain will be specified

while each country must be categorized according to geographic region but also to economic group (developed countries, Least Developed countries…).

Each document must be categorized according to its relevance with regard to societal issues

A four-level tree of societal topic/societal subtopic/key issues/keywords is under construction. Every document can be registered for various combinations of societal topics and subtopics.

The computerized tool will provide the needed assistance to implement this categorization.

At consultation, language selection is possible.

Assistance will be provided to enable consultation

by selecting a specific country, region or economic group of countries, or by selecting a specific societal topic or subtopic. The results of the consultation can be exported into file of common format (like Word or Excel).

A prototype of the Data base is firstly to be developed

by using Microsoft ACCESS data base software. It is scheduled to proceed to the conversion of this prototype into an Internet-operated tool.
