Export of raw cotton, promoted by world market high price, is seriously hurting the textile industry
This export, to some extent encouraged also by governmental incentives, has rendered cotton unaffordable to many spinning mills, most of them are located in rural areas. In the same time, the price of cotton yarn keeps on declining. Regulation of the raw cotton export is strongly requested.
