Giving access to various sources and leaving each one make his/her own mind
We aim at reporting the interactions between stakeholders about topics related to cotton policies in the wide sense. We are doing so through what come out newspapers and we are not taking position. We establish links with the original sources, which are in various languages, and we try to summarize as objectively as possible the contents of the articles (this is not an easy task). Besides, we try to inform about articles from both positive or negative perspective.
Law is said to be soon enacted to prohibit side-marketing
The Government of Zanbia is said to enact a specific law to prevent side-marketing of seedcotton which is hampering the sector development.

Causes of animal death still not clarified
Information on the first results of the analyses implemented to clarify the causes of the death of the animal which grazed on Bt cotton. Causes are not yet clear. Meanwhile, farmers are advised not to let their animal graze on Bt cotton. It is requested that biosafety research should be extended to animal consumption of cotton crop residues.

China Cotton Association starts blacklisting
This association has become member of the Committee for International Cooperation Between Associations and is requesting all its members to inform about dishonest companies to put them on its blacklist.
